The Lamplighters Student Night at the opera Performance date is Friday, February 23 at 7:30 p.m.

Lamplighters Student Night at the Opera for Ruddygore: Or, the Bruja’s Curse!

Our version of RUDDYGORE will be unlike any you’ve seen. We’ll be transporting you to a real-life town in central Mexico whose large Cornish population arrived in the 1820s. We will combine British etiquette with Mexican traditions, including folkloric dancing and the Day of the Dead. More than mere melodrama, this show will be straight out of a Telenovela!

Don’t miss out on this exciting FREE program!

The Lamplighters Student Night at the Opera program provides students and their Chaperones access to the final dress rehearsal of our Main Stage productions. You’ll hear our exceptional vocalists and performers accompanied by the professional Musicians Union Local 6 of San Francisco. You’ll see the cast and chorus in spectacular costumes (designed by our talented in-house team!), and on occasion be introduced to some of the performers, cast and crew who make the productions possible. The audience will see the performances in their entirety.

The show will be sung in English, with English and Spanish supertitles.
